Foundation Board of Directors

Jeannie Etchart

Chair Elect

Jeannie Etchart is a fourth-generation Montanan from a well-known and respected ranching family in northeastern Montana. She grew up in Helena and later attended the University of Notre Dame, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2006. Following graduation, Jeannie moved to Washington, DC, where she held a variety of political, fundraising, and event-planning roles, including work with The White House, the United States Senate, and the Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation. In December 2015, Jeannie returned to her hometown of Helena to help care for her aging parents. She always knew she would return to her Montana roots and is grateful to once again be part of Helena’s growing and thriving community.

Jeannie enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors, taking full advantage of Montana’s natural beauty through hiking, skiing, golfing, paddleboarding, and adventuring with friends.

Professionally, Jeannie owns and operates Etchart Events LLC, where she assists local clients with planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events. She also serves as Director of Events and Member Programming for the State Bar of Montana and supports local organizations, including Shodair Children’s Hospital, with large-scale fundraising events. A highlight of her career has been serving as Gala Chair for the St. Peter’s Health Foundation Gala for more than three years, where she combines her event-planning expertise with her passion for community engagement to help ensure the event’s continued success.

Jeannie was motivated to join the St. Peter’s Health Foundation Board after St. Peter’s Health played a critical role in supporting her and her family while she cared for her ailing parents. During a very difficult time, the compassion and support of the hospital staff left a lasting impression, and she felt called to give back to an organization that became like family to her.

In addition to her service with the Foundation, Jeannie is involved in the Helena community and currently serves on the boards of the Prickly Pear Land Trust, the Carroll College Athletics Association, and Green Meadow Country Club. She believes strongly in the importance of a safe, caring community hospital and is proud to support St. Peter’s Health—an institution that has touched nearly every person in Helena, in both good times and challenging ones.
