Family Fun Fest

Join us for Helena's premiere FREE health and wellness event for kids and families
presented by Intrepid Credit Union!

​Family Fun Fest reflects St. Peter’s Health’s commitment to supporting the health and wellness of children and families in our community. We’re proud to bring people together for a day that encourages active living, healthy habits, and family fun.

  • Saturday, August 8, 2026

  • 8:30 am – 12 pm 

  • New location this year at Centennial Park, Great Northern Carousel Park and Great Northern Town Center

  • Registration is required. If you missed the registration deadline, you can still register in-person the morning of the event!

  • Free T-shirts for the first 500 kids who register! Please note: t-shirt sizes are not being collected at registration. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis prior to the event! Pickup details will be sent via the email address provided during registration.

  • Wild West Themed: Pull on your boots and round up the family for a day of Wild West fun. Cowboy and cowgirl attire is encouraged for all ages, and we'll have themed activities, photo opportunities, and plenty of frontier-inspired fun throughout the day. We can't wait to see your best Western look!

  • Complimentary Admission during the event to ExplorationWorks and
    The Great Northern Carousel for Family Fun Fest participants!

Family Fun Fest is free and open to all area children and their families. Activities include:
 

  • Kids one-mile fun run: Warmups start at 8:30 am and the race starts at 9 am in Centennial Park

  • Health and wellness fair: Games, prizes and activities until noon for kids of all ages at the Great Northern Town Center

* Event is subject to change due to weather and other community health considerations.

Note: Registration closed August 4th, but if you miss the deadline, don't worry! You can still register in-person the morning of Saturday, August 8th. Be at Centennial Park at 8:30 am for check-in. Race starts at 9:00 am! See you there!
