At St. Peter’s Health Foundation, we are fortunate to be supported by extraordinary individuals whose generosity transforms lives—individuals like Suzi and Jim Stanger.

Quietly humble but deeply impactful, Suzi and Jim have long been champions for our mission. Their involvement touches nearly every corner of our work—from patient assistance programs to community-based services, innovative healthcare initiatives and early childhood education. Through their time, talent, and treasure, the Stangers have set a powerful example of what it means to give meaningfully.

Most notably, their transformational gift of $500,000 established the Suzi and Jim Stanger Endowment for Community-Based Services, a lasting resource that helps patients in our community access essentials like housing, medications, transportation, and other critical support. Their contribution ensures care reaches far beyond our walls, meeting patients where they are, when they need it most.

Their generosity doesn’t stop there. Suzi and Jim’s $50,000 Live Drive match during Gala 2025 inspired others to give, helping us raise a record-breaking $410,000 plus for Pete’s Place Early Childhood Learning Center. In recognition of their leadership, we proudly named our stage the Stanger Main Stage, where children from Pete’s Place and the greater Helena community will perform for years to come.

With over $2.36 million of commitments to Pete’s Place thanks to the momentum they helped spark, Suzi and Jim continue to be a driving force behind our mission. Their legacy is one of compassion, vision, and action.
